Transport and parking
Due to the limited capacity of parking spaces, it is not possible to reserve a parking space. In case of free capacity, it will be provided on the day of arrival at the reception for a fee of CZK 50/day.

Entry to Janské Lázní is free of charge for clients of the spa based on a summons for treatment or confirmation of reservation (A summons for treatment/confirmation of reservation enables clients to enter Janské Lázní free of charge).
Due to the low number of parking spaces, we recommend using a bus or train connection to get to our spa. Svoboda nad Úpou train station is approx. 3 km away (regular bus connection).
Parking information
Entry to the city center is prohibited (except for traffic services or with the permission of the city office). Transport service means vehicles providing supply or medical, repair, maintenance, communal and similar services, vehicles transporting a person with a severe disability, taxi service vehicles and vehicles whose drivers, operators or transported persons have residence, accommodation, headquarters or real estate in the place behind the sign (Decree No. 294/2015 Coll.).
In the entire cadastre of the city, parking is prohibited outside of designated parking lots, in the center it is prohibited to stop.
A one-time permit to enter the city can be purchased at payment machines (available for 1 day to 7 days) at the entrance to the center and at the Janské Lázně Municipal Office (only during office hours). The payment machine is by the road from the central parking lot to the center (right after the turn to the Omnia hotel) and in the direction from Svoboda nad Úpou (lower road) after the turn to Vesna near the spa garage No. 90. The price of a permit for 1 day is CZK 50 per person vehicle and CZK 150 for a vehicle over 3.5 t.
For parking, you can mainly use the central parking lot under the cable car, where there are about 500 parking spaces available, and the parking lot under the Lesní dům hotel with a capacity of 80 parking spaces. Also the Hofmanky parking lot. It is also possible to use a parking lot with a parking machine in Dolní promenád – pod Betlém with a capacity of 50 spaces, see map and a parking lot in Lázeňská street with a capacity of 7 spaces, see map. Another car park with a parking machine is in Obchodní Street in front of the Arnika and Sola Fide hotels, where 11 parking spaces + 5 spaces for vehicles marked 01 can be used.
Parking price list
Officers from the Trutnov Municipal Police are in the city, checking entry permits and the authorized use of parking areas.
